My Watch Resume
Ive been wanting to write a blog for a while now about my adoration of watches and timekeeping. Its just a practice, for myself, to get better at writing. I love watches as an art form of design and as a tool for everyday convenience. I do not have a collection of watches, but merely a handful of pieces that have ended up in my possession. Nothing special, a few Seiko's, a couple Casio's and a Relic watch my Mom gave me in 2011... My first watch is the aforementioned Relic, given to me as a Christmas gift to wear at work as a Shift Supervisor of Panera Bread. I wore it daily to work because it was a requirement of management to have a watch, because cell phones were not allowed. Its a blue dial watch with a black PVD case. Chronograph with a 24 sub dial that is just a 24 hour function of the normal time. Quartz of course. I stopped wearing the watch when m,y primary job became working in a sheet metal shop and eventually the watch was sadly relegated to a box in the closet
